Wu Boping

Wu Boping, male, was born in Shanghai in June, 1935. Graduated from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1962, He has been doing traditional Chinese medical clinical work, teaching work, research work, and information work for more than 30 years. He has served successively as deputy director and director of the Institute of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine, China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Now he is a researcher of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and he is also a member of Expert Committee of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Senior Title Evaluating Committee, Degree Judgment Committee, National AIDS Expert Committee, Editorial Committee of China Yearbook of Traditional Chinese Medicine, etc. Meanwhile, he is a visiting professor of London University Medical School, United Kingdom, as well as a honorary professor of Atlantic College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, USA.

Studying very hard and following many famous traditional Chinese medical doctors, such as Qin Bowei, Ren Yingqiu, Zhu Yan, Zhao Bingnan, Fang Mingqian, Chen Shenwu, and Dong Jianhua, Dr Wu has a good grasp of traditional Chinese medical theory and clinical technique. He is good at treating the following diseases: AIDS, venereal diseases (gonorrhea, non-gonococcal blennorrhagia, and genital herpes, etc), autoimmunitic diseases (lupus erythematosus, dermatasclerosis, and Sjogren's syndrome, etc), skin diseases (chronic eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, vitiligo, and mycotic skin diseases and nail diseases), and other intratable diseases, such as mutliple sclerosis, hepatolenticular degeneration, chronic exhaustion syndrome, progressive myodystrophy, abstinence syndrome, smoking, temperance, and obesity.
